I was very interested and excited when I learned that the Lomi Lomi class was starting. I had always thought about trying it someday. The class began, and I realized how challenging it is to use the body. I was amazed when I saw the teacher demonstrating it. They made something so difficult look easy, and they did it with a smile. I was truly impressed.
With each class session, it became more challenging, and there were tough moments. However, I still found the teacher’s classes enjoyable. I feel like I had the opportunity to experience a type of class that is not easily found elsewhere, and it greatly contributed to improving my skills. Thank you very much for generously teaching us so many things every time.

I had heard of Lomi Lomi before, but when I tried it for the first time, I found it to be very challenging compared to other massages. However, as I continued practicing and learned the basic techniques such as Lomi Lomi and strokes, it became more enjoyable. When receiving the massage, it felt incredibly relaxing, and I almost fell asleep.
Since the spa where I have been offered a position mainly focuses on head spa and doesn’t offer full-body massages, I think I will have fewer opportunities to perform Lomi Lomi. However, I want to keep the spirit of loving the muscles and conveying the music alive and continue to apply it. I have developed a love for Lomi Lomi during these past six months.
I hope that Lomi Lomi will become more widespread and accessible, and I wish for more people to experience it

The words that the teacher often mentioned, such as “conveying the music,” “melting the ice slowly,” or “feeling the blood and muscles,” really stuck with me. In other classes apart from Lomi Lomi, I had never thought about such things, so it was a new sensation for me. However, by being conscious of those words and incorporating them into my practice, I naturally started to think about the clients (friends) and how I could help them relax and feel better, with the intention of giving massages filled with love.
I believe that there are only a few vocational schools where you can take Lomi Lomi classes, so it was a truly valuable experience for me. Although I still have a long way to go, I’m glad that I was able to acquire Lomi Lomi techniques. Even though I have secured a job at [Company ●●●], in the future, I will strive to work in a role similar to that of Professor Sanada.
